National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
NASFAA is a national association of college and university financial aid professionals. The “parents and students” section offers in-depth information on such topics as college savings plans, the federal student loan application process (FAFSA), aid for students with disabilities, and aid for veterans. Their “Guide to Higher Education Tax Benefits” is one of the best available.

FAFSA
Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded financial assistance for education beyond high school. We consistently champion the promise of post-secondary education to all Americans —and its value to our society.

CSS Profile On-Line
The CSS Profile is the form many private colleges and universities require, in addition to the FAFSA, for those applying for financial aid.

College Affordability and Transparency Center
The U.S. Department of Education created the College Affordability and Transparency Center to inform students, parents, and policymakers about college costs at America’s colleges and universities. The Center includes several lists of institutions based on the tuition and fees and net prices (the price of attendance after considering all grant and scholarship aid) charged to students.
